INNOVATION LABORATORIES IN THE DEVELOPMENT OF COMPETENCES OF SPECIAL PEDAGOGY TEACHERS AND PEOPLE WITH SPECIAL EDUCATIONAL NEEDS

Aim of the project:

The aim of the project is to exchange of experiences and good practices in the organization of the educational process with the use of new methods of education, available by applying Labs Innovation in teaching vocational subjects and specialized. The aim will be achieved through the creation of a new laboratories in partner institutions, the training of special education teachers in the use of i-Lab in the teaching process, implementation methodology of i-Lab for special education teachers, and people with special educational needs.

Description of planned activities and the role of partners:

  • Conduct research and prepare a report “Organizational and educational teachers needs of disabled people”, which will allow for the adoption proper solutions in the project, which will be the most responsive to diagnosed needs. The research will be conducted in the countries of the partner institutions.
  • Launch New Innovation Laboratories. Partner institutions (APS-PL, CZ, DE, IT) will release space for their laboratory, and arrange them in accordance with the principles of the Innovation Laboratories. Laboratories will be equipped with the appropriate hardware and materials for the development of creativity and stimulate outstanding thinking.
  • Develop the new language versions for VirtualBrainstorm software (VBS), which is the basis of functioning of Innovation Laboratories. This software was created for the purpose of operating in ITeE-PIB in Radom Innovation Laboratories. The software will be will be relase and available to the project partners.
  • Organize the training in administration and moderation software VBS i-Lab session.
  • Develop scenarios for using Innovation Laboratory in the teaching process.
  • Implement Innovation Laboratories in practical training of special education teachers and people with special educational needs.

project management, coordination and supervision of the activities undertaken within the framework of the partnership, organizing and conducting research “Organizational and educational teachers needs of disabled people”, the launch of the Innovation Lab, creating a website as an information and communication platform, organization of a series of demonstration session, in order to present the possibilities i-lab in the teaching process, development Innovation Lab scenario using in the teaching process, implementation i-Lab in practical training of special education teachers and people with special educational needs.

substantive supervision and support over the running process of the Innovation Laboratories and implement in to the learning process practice, development of new language versions of the software and providing software partners, evaluation of the project, organize and conduct training for administrators and facilitators i-Lab sessions and provide support for the facilitator to organize and conducting i-Lab sessions.
