The Maria Grzegorzewska University (APS) has an over 95-year old teaching tradition. It is a continuator of the State Institute of Special Education (PIPS) established in 1922.

The university employs a highly qualified academic and didactic staff and offers interesting curricula, excellent study conditions and access to high quality IT equipment. It provides training on the specialties currently sought in the labour market.

At present, over 7,000 students are studying at our day and weekend studies. The faculty of Pedagogical Sciences and Faculty of Applied Social Sciences offers six fields of study: psychology, sociology, pedagogy, special education, social work, and arts education. In addition, the University offers a wide range of postgraduate studies which provide additional qualification in the field of pedagogy and special pedagogy.
